The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma softball team is at the top of the NAIA.
The undefeated Drovers were voted No. 1 in the country by coaches in the most recent NAIA poll, released on Tuesday.
The Drovers had been ranked No. 2 since the preseason and were behind Oklahoma City University. USAO was able to jump OCU in the rankings, receiving 529 points. OCU finished second with 20 points less than USAO.
The Drovers are the only undefeated team within the Sooner Athletic Conference at 17-0 overall and 6-0 within conference play. OCU entered Tuesday with two losses on the season.
The Drovers were voted No. 1 in the country after last season. Following their win in the national title game, the Drovers were voted No. 1 in the NAIA’s postseason poll.
The Drovers' win streak is up to 24 between this season and last season.
