The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma’s Colton Williams can add another honor to his list.

The Sooner Athletic Conference announced Williams as the SAC Male Athlete of the Year after a successful season with the USAO baseball team.

He helped the Drovers advance to the Avista NAIA World Series and managed to earn a win in Lewiston, Idaho. That win was one of many for Williams.

Williams ended up leading the NAIA in wins with 16 on the year and went through the season without suffering a loss. He also led the country in strikeouts with 136.

His 1.33 ERA was good enough for second in the country.

Williams’ growing list of honors includes being named the SAC Pitcher of the Year and NAIA Pitcher of the Year. He has received several other honors as well.

With Williams leading the charge on the mound, USAO won 49 games.

The Drovers were one of the final three teams at the World Series and won the SAC regular-season title and tournament title.
