The USAO men's basketball team earned an at-large bid to the national tournament.

The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma men’s basketball team found out its fate on Wednesday.

During the revealing of the NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship teams, the Drovers found out that they would be able to continue their season. USAO received an at-large bid to the national tournament. With the bid, USAO has advanced to the national tournament three seasons in a row.

Just like the women’s team, the men’s team earned the No. 7 seed in the Cramer Bracket and will face the No. 2 seed in the bracket. Like the USAO women, the men will take on The Master’s University.

The two teams are scheduled to meet in Kansas City, Missouri on Thursday at 9:15 p.m.

USAO enters the tournament with a record of 20-10 on the season. The Drovers finished third in the Sooner Athletic Conference with a 14-8 conference record. The Drovers are one of five teams from the SAC to earn a spot in the tournament.

USAO picked up several wins over ranked opponents during the regular season, including two wins over John Brown University. JBU is ranked 15th in the country and is seeded fourth in the Liston Bracket.

The Master’s is ranked fourth in the country and has a record of 27-5 on the season.
