The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma baseball team knows its NAIA Opening Round destination.
The NAIA announced the brackets Thursday, and the Drovers were selected as a No. 1 seed and will be heading to California. The Drovers were put in Santa Barbara, California, and play is scheduled to begin Monday.
The Drovers enter tournament play with a record of 43-10 on the season. USAO finished first in the Sooner Athletic Conference in the regular season and in the conference tournament, earning an automatic bid to the national tournament.
USAO will open play against the winner of Arizona Christian University and the University of Jamestown. ACU is seeded fourth in the bracket, and UJ is seeded fifth.
ACU enters the tournament with a record of 38-19. The Firestorm earned an at-large bid to the national tournament.
UJ was able to take the title in the conference tournament of the Great Plains Athletic Conference. The Jimmies enter tournament play with a record of 35-16 on the season.
Westmont College is the No. 2 seed in the bracket with a record of 34-14. The Warriors received an at-large bid to the tournament.
The University of Antelope Valley is seeded third with a record of 34-17-1. The Pioneers are the Unaffiliated CalPac/Frontier/Cascade champions.
