The Amber-Pocasset softball team got off to a strong start Thursday at Ninnekah High School's softball tournament.

Competing at the Chickasha Sports Complex, the Lady Panthers defeated Rush Springs 12-0 after earning a first-round bye. The win was Am-Po's third win in a row and moved the Lady Panthers to 9-1 on the season.

Rush Springs advanced to play Am-Po after beating Okarche 10-9 Thursday in the first round.
