Chickasha's JV Lady Chicks scored three second-half goals yesterday to beat the CMS girls 3-0 in their second friendly at Hampton Field.

After a balanced and scoreless first half, sophomore Kaysee Coponiti made a solo run out of the midfield about ten minutes in and put the ball to the left post to give the JV girls a 1-0 lead.

Coponiti got the older girls on the board again about five minutes later when she found sophomore Zhanna Lewis at the eighteen and Lewis went net at the right post.

Freshman Tara Still made it three with about seven minutes left when she picked up a loose ball in the box and chipped it in over CMS keeper Patricia McKinney's hands.

Both teams will be off as the varsity has their home opener Thursday with Harrah and hosts the Chick Invitational this Saturday.

CMS will host Cordell on Monday, March 27.
