Chickasha High School's annual wrestling tournament was held last week.
Two Chickasha wrestlers ended up with medals at the tournament Friday and Saturday in Chickasha. Three Chickasha wrestlers recorded at least two victories at the tournament.

After a first-round bye and second-round loss, Resendez rattled off multiple victories in a row (including a forfeit) to advance to the consolation semifinals. He lost that match but bounced back with a 6-4 decision over Midwest City’s Jamie Watts in the fifth-place match.
Cole White won four matches at the tournament and ended up with a fourth-place finish in the 182-pound class. White split his first two matches after a bye and then won multiple matches in a row before falling in the third-place match.
Nate Timmons also won a couple of matches at the tournament to go along with one bye. He secured a pin in his opening match and ended up winning two matches at the tournament in the 195-pound class.
