Despite coming up a little short, the Chickasha Fightin’ Chicks put up a strong effort against the Clinton Red Tornadoes.

Chickasha hosted a ranked Clinton team in Chickasha on Saturday and got off to a strong start. Chickasha only trailed by one possession in the fourth quarter, but Clinton pulled away for the 54-44 victory.

Including Doss and Murphy, Chickasha had five players finish the game with at least six points.

Clinton took back the lead in the third quarter and tried to pull away from the Fightin' Chicks. The Reds built their lead to eight in the third quarter and led by seven heading to the fourth quarter.
