Cement volleyball and Cyril softball are back in their respective state tournaments.

The Cement Lady Bulldogs rolled through their regional tournament last week after earning the opportunity to host. The Lady Bulldogs did not drop a set in the tournament en route to qualifying for the state tournament.

The Lady Bulldogs have become a powerhouse in volleyball and have built a streak of appearances at the state tournament. They are back at the state tournament for the third season in a row.

The state tournament is scheduled to begin Friday and will be held at Shawnee High School. The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association released the bracket Monday, and Cement is scheduled to face Metro Christian at 10 a.m.

The Cyril softball team has also built a streak of appearances at the state tournament. The Lady Pirates added to that streak last week after getting to host their regional tournament. Cyril was dominant in its wins over Turner and Asher and advanced to the Class B state tournament in Shawnee with a close win over Big Pasture.

The OSSAA released the bracket Monday, and Cyril is scheduled to play Vici at 10:30 a.m. That schedule could change.
