In a pair of close games on Tuesday, Chickasha's boys and girls basketball teams had very different Senior Nights.
The No. 6 Lady Chicks held on to a 45-44 win against Carl Albert to start off the evening. The boys could not follow suit, however, and fell, 69-61 to the second-ranked Titans.
For the Lady Chicks, this was their fourth straight win, and a valuable one against the No. 6 Carl Albert girls. Chickasha is now 10-0 against 5A teams this season.
Though it was close eventually, the Fightin' Chicks could not overcome an early Carl Albert rally. The visitors led throughout the night, with Mason Harrell's 31 points leading the floor.
Trey Hopkins added 25 more points as Chickasha's winning streak of six games was snapped.
Three Chickasha players finished the night in double-digits, led by senior Colton Christian's 14 points. He and fellow senior Magyver Boles hauled in six rebounds each, and senior Braeden Blakes led with seven.
Junior Brock Henderson contributed 13 points, while senior Brandon Shumway finished with 10 points and nine asssists.
A trip to 5A Shawnee awaits Chickasha on Friday. The Lady Wolves are ranked third.
