Kiddieland train with conductor

The conductor drives the train around when it arrived to Kiddieland Park on the 27th of March.

The United Way of Stephens County and Kiwanis will team up this weekend for a sneak peek at the new Kiddieland Train this Saturday.

From 9 a.m. to noon, or until supplies run out, on Saturday, June 20 at Fuqua Park, the two organizations will celebrate the first day of summer by giving away summer gun bags to the first 300 children ages three to 18.

This is a drive-thru event only as Kiddieland remains closed and social distancing practices remain in place. Entry will be from Beech, where community members can view the new train and grab a goodie bag as they exit on 14th Street, just past the museum.

For more information, contact the United Way office by calling 580-255-3648.
