This year marks the 10th year for Chickasha High School to hold its ‘Steppin Out’ spring show. This years production is “Friends, On The Road To Somewhere.” To help mark its 10th anniversary, the group decided to host a reunion show.

“We’ve invited members from the past 11 years to come back and sing with us,” said Vocal Music Director Mona Greenfield. “They didn’t have a show that first year of ‘Steppin Out,’ but we couldn’t have a reunion and not include them.”

When the curtain rises on Saturday, April 8 and Sunday April 9, 60 former students, as well as the 2005-2006 cast will take the stage.

Robert Story and Talley Noland will emcee the musical which explores friendships at different stages in our lives. Of the 20 songs performed, some are old favorites like “Lean on me,” “I’ll be there for you,” “Trashin the camp,” “Inside your heaven,” “Answer in the sky” and “O happy day.”

Both performances will be video taped and tapes can be ordered.

The show will begin at 7 p.m. on April 8 and 2:30 p.m. on April 9 at the Chickasha Middle School Auditorium. Cost is $4 a person. Reserved seating is not available.
