At least one person was injured on the slick roadways on Wednesday.

A Ninnekah man was hospitalized after his Mack semi-truck fell into a creek near Chickasha.

Todd Dinsmore, 42, was eastbound on US62 near 2880 when his vehicle veered to the left. The semi-truck then overturned and came to rest in a creek, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Dinsmore was pinned in the truck and later freed by first responders using the jaws of life. He was transported to OU Medical Center with internal and external trunk as well as arm injuries.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that several agencies responded to the scenes including the Chickasha and Friend Fire Departments, Chickasha EMS, the Grady County Fire Department and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
