The Pioneer School District is putting a stop to in-person learning for a short amount of time.

Mike Sparks — superintendent and principal at Pioneer — said via email that the school district has halted in-person learning because of COVID-19. Sparks that an increasing amount positive cases and quarantines led to the stoppage of in-person learning.

Sparks said that in-person learning will resume Feb. 8.
