Stephens County Pride, an organization formed to unite members of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies, hosted an event in Duncan on Saturday, June 11. In honor of Pride Month, Stephens County Pride arranged a Pride Walk through Duncan Memorial Park. Participants wore their brightest clothing and had their most colorful flags in tow. The trail for the walk led attendees alongside Highway 81, where they gained a considerable amount of attention from the passing cars. The group flew their rainbow flags high to showcase their support for LGBTQ+ rights and to celebrate diversity.
