17-year-old Macy Patrick of Chickasha was crowned Festival of Light Christmas Queen during the first annual pageant Saturday night at the Chickasha High School Activity Center. More than 20 girls ages 3 to 21 competed for trophies. The contestants charmed the audience with a variety of talent performances as well as modeling Christmas apparel. Shown are, front row, Junior Congeniality Queen, Brittney Grissam (4), Junior Talent Queen Alli Bordwine (4), Junior Christmas Queen Allie Surber (6), Christmas Princess Rebekah Willoughby (10), Talent Princess Hannah Carpenter (10) and Congeniality Princess Melanie Sales (10). Top row, Congeniality Queen Heather Bumpas (18), Christmas Queen Macy Patrick and Talent Queen Elizabeth Pittman (17). Patrick will appear at the Festival of Light opening ceremony on November 25 in her role as queen. She won a $3,600 scholarship to the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Pittman received a $2,000 scholarship to USAO as the Talent Queen. The pageant was conducted by the Our Diamond Miss officials in conjuction with the Festival of Light and the Chamber of Commerce.
