An alleged Chickasha marijuana dealer has been shut down in the 1500 block of S. Eighth Street.

Deputies arrested Daniel David Caruthers, 24, Justin Christopher Powell, 24, Christopher Joe Robertson, 22, and Candice Apri Rogers, 20, Friday afternoon in connection to drug sales out of the home at 1502 S. Eighth Street.

According to interviews with the suspects, marijuana was jointly consumed at least once a day in the residence for the past week, and two ounces of the drug were kept on hand for distribution purposes.

Powell and Rogers were reportedly staying at the residence “on” and “off,” but were reportedly aware of the drug sales being allegedly performed by Caruthers and Robertson. One interview indicated Caruthers and Robertson had averaged 10 narcotics sales a day over the last year.

The search of the home, with search warrant in hand, was a combined effort of the Grady County Sheriff’s Office, Probation and Parole Officers and the Chickasha Police Department.

Law enforcement officials found 10 baggies of marijuana of various sizes in the back bedroom, a baggy of marijuana and a baggy of stems in the front bedroom, and another baggy of marijuana in the toilet. Seven tablets of Soma, a prescriptive drug, were also found in a safe in the bedroom along with marijuana stems and seeds.

Six weapons were also removed from the home, including two rifles, a shotgun, a SKS assault rifle, a .44 caliber pistol and a pair of brass knuckles. All four suspects were booked into the Grady County Jail on drugs and weapons charges.
