The Oklahoma Corporation Commission announced on Monday morning a well completion operation in Bridge Creek has ceased following an earthquake.
The Oil and Gas Division of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission advised Roan Resources to cease operations immediately, shortly after an earthquake was reported near Tuttle on Sunday evening.
The earthquake was originally reported by the United States Geological Survey as a 3.1 magnitude earthquake, but has since increased the figure to 3.3 magnitude.
The Oklahoma Corporation Commission, which references the Oklahoma Geological Survey, originally listed the earthquake as 3.7 but has since decreased the figure to 3.4.
According to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, the shutdown is indefinite and pending further investigation as well as data review.
