The Grady County Fairgrounds will be a hot spot for activity during the first weekend of summer.
Touted as Oklahoma's largest military collector's event, the Heartland Militaria Show is coming to the Grady County Fairgrounds this weekend.
Collectors will be coming from all over the country to put their military wares on display, some for sale. There is expected to be over 300 tables of guns, knives, uniforms, boots, helmets and more.
The Heartland Militaria Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 23.
General admission is $10. Admission for veterans, law enforcement officers and firefighters is $9. Children under 12 years of age are free.
Those who bring an item to sell or trade may be eligible for $1 off general admission.
The 80th Annual Chickasha Rodeo will also take place this weekend.
The Rodeo opens tonight, Friday, June 21 at 8 p.m. Shows will also take place June 22 and 23. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Parking is free.
The Chickasha Rodeo Parade will take place at 4 p.m. in downtown Chickasha, on Chickasha Ave.
