Precipitation is in the forecast for Grady County as the weekend begins.
Cloudy skies will precede a 20 to 40% chance of rain on Thursday. Shower chances will be more likely on Friday at 50 to 70%, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
The temperature may drop on Friday night, from the afternoon's high of 65 degrees down to 26 degrees. In addition to the chill, there is a 30% chance of snow.
Saturday is expected to be cold, with a high of 39 degrees and a 20% chance of snow. Preiciptation is expected to clear by Saturday evening but temperatures are forecast to remain chilly at 28 degrees, according to NWS.
At the time of this report, the NWS has forecast most of the wintery weather to take place across northern Oklahoma. Significant impacts are not expected at this time.
