Two men in a semi-truck were injured in a collision on Wednesday morning.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that a 2019 Freightliner was eastbound on Fox Lane, about two miles south of Tuttle. The driver slowed to move right, drove off the edge of the road and overcorrected. The truck then crossed the roadway and departed the road to the left where the truck began to overturn. The truck then struck a utility pole before coming to rest, the report said.
The driver, Anthony Clayton, 54, of Blanchard, was transported by Tuttle EMS to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was treated and released with arm injuries.
The passenger, Tony Banks, 39, of Oklahoma City, was also transported to OU Medical Center via Tuttle EMS. He was admitted with trunk internal and external injuries.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported the cause of collision as unsafe speed for traffic conditions.
