Scream Country Haunted Trail open for chills and thrills

Those craving a Halloween scare must be ready to run from creatures lurking in the dark—including chainsaw wielding fiends!

The Scream Country Haunted Trail will be open one final weekend for the Halloween season, Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26. Gates open at 8 p.m. Admission is $10 per person. All attendees must be at least 12-years-old.

The Scream Country Haunted Trail is located at 42128 County Street 2740 in Cement.

Kelly Dorsey—Haunted Trail Spooksperson—said the opening night last weekend drew a huge crowd of brave souls. Groups of three to six people walk—and run—through the trail which is about a mile long. Boils and ghouls are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes.

Those waiting in line to be terrified may warm themselves next to the bonfire before being chilled to the bone by a cast of 20 or more characters who will provide jump scares and play out spooky scenarios while a terrifying tour guide leads them through the dark.

Those planning to attend should keep an eyeball on the Scream Country Haunted Trail Facebook a possible ticket giveaways.
