A Rush Springs man was hospitalized in serious condition following a motorcycle accident on Saturday.
Nicholas Jackson, 53, was traveling on Tony Creek Road near Elgin when he swerved to miss an object in the roadway, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
After Jackson swerved, his motorcycled departed the roadway to right and rolled. He was transported by Apache EMS to Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton. He was then transferred by Survival Flight to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was admitted in serious condition with a head injury. He was not wearing his helmet, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
