Three new medical marijuana dispensaries and miniature golf could be on their way to Chickasha.

Several rezoning ordinances were passed at Monday night's Chickasha City Council meeting:

The property at 1304 S. Grand Ave. was rezoned from agricultural to commercial. Jerry and Sheila Layman purchased the property from the City of Chickasha with the intention of building a miniature golf course, according to city documents.

The owner(s) of three local properties have a potential buyer or tenant interested in opening a medical marijuana dispensary.

The properties at 1111 W. Choctaw Ave., 1426 S. 4th St. and 1428 S. 4th St. were all rezoned from light or local commercial to general commercial.

A public hearing was held before each item was passed, though no one spoke for or against the ordinances.
