OHP: Man hit by own SUV in Cement

A man failed to put his SUV in park, resulting in the car running over him. 

The accident occurred at a gas station on Main St. in Cement. The driver stopped at the gas pump and did not put the Ford Expedition in park before getting out of the vehicle. The SUV began to roll and struck the driver, knocking him under the vehicle. The SUV then rolled across the street and struck a sign and pole before coming to a stop, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol. 

Johnny Moore, 50, of Anadarko, was transported by Apache EMS to Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton and then transferred to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was admitted with head, arm, internal and leg injuries. 

A passenger, Nickolas Toahty, 27, of Cyril, was not injured.
