A man died in a drowning accident at Chickasha Lake on Memorial Day.
Zachary Tryon, 34, was on a boat with two other males at 5:22 p.m. They noticed a female struggling in the water nearby. Tryon and the other two men on the boat went into the water to help her. They were able to get her safely to shore. However, Tryon did not resurface, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Tryon’s body was recovered three hours later at 8:17 p.m. and transported to the Oklahoma Examiner’s Office.
