The Grady County Home and Community Education group will host their annual Celebration of Crafts Show, Nov. 15 and 16 at the Grady County Fairgrounds and Event Center, located at 500 E. Choctaw in Chickasha.
The craft show will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The indoor event has over 40 vendors selling a wide variety of items, from the unique and handcrafted, to homemade baked goods just in time for holiday entertaining and gifting.
The show features an informal quilt display, a narrated quilt turning event which will take place both days. There will also be a quilt block challenge where attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite quilt blocks. The quilt blocks in the challenge will be sewn into quilts that are given to local veterans.
Santa will be in-house both days for a photo for keepsake photos. This year there will also be an alpaca petting area. The alpacas will be brought in by a returning vendor who sells items made from alpaca fleece.
Concessions are provided by OHCE and will include breakfast items for early shoppers and homemade Indian tacos for lunch.
Parking and admission are free.
