NWS: Week begins with winter precipitation

Don't put away the de-icer just yet. 

A cloudy but warmer Sunday was followed by cold rain and highs in the 30s on Monday with parts of western Oklahoma receiving winter precipitation. 

There could even be some light snow on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).  

There is a 40% chance of light winter precipitation on Tuesday morning with increased chances of rain—70%—by Tuesday night. Temperature highs of 42 degrees may keep flurries from sticking. 

Chances of rain will highest during the day on Wednesday at 70%. Rain chances will decrease to 20% by evening. Wednesday evening could be much cooler with lows in the 20s. 

Thursday and Friday are currently forecast as sunny with highs in the 40s, according to NWS.
