Thunderstorms and a temperature drop are expected in Chickasha later this week. 

October has already brought some chilly mornings. At the time of this report, the National Weather Service has forecast lows in the 40s and 50s. 

On Tuesday night, NWS forecasts a slight chance—20 percent—of thunderstorms carrying over into Wednesday. 

Temperatures could increase up to the low 80s by the middle of the week.

On Thursday, there is a 60% chance of Thunderstorms with a high of 82 degrees. That night, there is also a chance of thunderstorms and a steep temperature drop down to 44 degrees, NWS said.

The temperature high for Friday is projected to be 58 degrees. That night, the low could dip to 37 degrees. The weekend could be on the cool side with 65 degrees forecast as the high for Saturday and 72 degrees on Sunday.
