The Grady County Free Fair is just a few days from celebrating it's 104th year. 

Events will kick off tonight at 6:30 p.m. with the Annual Fair Princess Talent Show and Crowning. 

Those with entries for the still exhibits may enter them on Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the Grady County Fairgrounds. 

Thursday, Aug. 22 is the big day.  At 10 a.m. the North Building and Event Center at the Grady County Fairgrounds will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The public will be able to view the exhibits and visit vendor booths from a variety of local businesses. 

The goat show is scheduled for 1 p.m. and the sheep show will follow shortly after. 

Fairgoers will also get their first taste of fair food on Thursday. OHCE will be serving their signature Down Home Cooking recipes in the Community Building every day of the fair. There will also be several food trucks and vendors. 

That evening, the carnival will be open from 6 to 10 p.m. Armbands are $20. 

The community will come together for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 7 p.m. At this time, the Fair Honoree Presentation and Fair Princess Introduction will also take place. These festivities will be followed by a cake auction. 

Live entertainment will take the stage at 7 p.m. with music by Tim Brauer and First Look. 

Friday will be another full day of fun at the fair. Exhibits and vendors will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Working Equitation Oklahoma event will take place in the Junior Arena. The swine show will begin at 5 p.m. The carnival will be open from 6 to 10 p.m. Ragland will provide live entertainment at 7 p.m. 

On Saturday, Aug. 24, the Grady County Free Fair will rise and shine for the final day. The North Building and Event Center will open an hour earlier at 9 a.m. The 4H and FFA Tractor Driving will begin at 9:30 a.m. The rabbit and poultry shows will take place at 10 a.m. The carnival will open at noon on Saturday.

  • 4:30 p.m. Pet Show
  • 4:45 p.m. Bucket Cafe Show
  • 6 p.m. Open Alfalfa Hay Bids
  • 6 p.m.  Children's Pedal Tractor Pull
  • 7 p.m. Live entertainment with Dollar .98
