A Duncan man was critically injured in a collision after he fell asleep at the wheel, according to a report from Oklahoma Highway Patrol. 

Jared Snyder, 28, was traveling northbound on US81, just south of Ninnekah on Friday morning around 6:34 a.m. He fell asleep and departed the roadway to the right, hit a guardrail and rolled once, the report said. 

Snyder was transported by a personal vehicle to Duncan Regional Hospital, then transferred via AMR to St. Anthony's Hospital. He was admitted in critical condition with head, arm and trunk internal injuries. 

The report said he was not wearing his seatbelt.
