Christmas on Main to bring holiday joy to all in Blanchard

A generous elf from last year's Blanchard Christmas parade gave away several plush elves to children in attendance. This year, the theme will be Dr. Suess. Forms are available on the City of Blanchard website and at Blanchard City Hall for those who wish to be in the parade.

The City of Blanchard is making their list and checking it twice for their annual Christmas celebration on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Santa will be making a stop at the old Blanchard City Hall for photos between 2 and 4 p.m. There will also be free train rides and hay rides.

Children's arts and crafts will also be at city hall between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m.  Shortly after, the Children's Christmas Concert Choir will sing carols at 5 p.m.

The grand finale of the evening, the Dr. Suess Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Blanchard Main St.

Individuals, teams, businesses, churches and neighborhoods are invited to participate in the lighted parade. Forms are available on the City of Blanchard website or at Blanchard City Hall.
