A Chickasha man was critically injured on Thursday morning after his vehicle crashed into a concrete bridge abutment near Ninnekah.
Justin Tune, 34, was southbound on US81, just south of US277. His vehicle departed the roadway to the right, went airborne and struck the bridge abutment. The vehicle rolled onto it's top, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).
Tune was transported by Air Evac to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was admitted in serious condition with head, arm, internal and leg injuries.
Several agencies responded to the scene including the Grady County Sheriff's Office, the Grady County Fire Department, OHP, Chickasha EMS, Chickasha Fire Department, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and Air Evac.
