The Chickasha Bowling Center is opening its lanes for local youth beginning June 11.
The bowling alley will offer two free games per day to kids 15 and under from noon to 4 p.m. between June 11 and Aug. 9., Tuesday through Friday.
There will be a $3 shoe fee, per rental.
Registration will take place at Chickasha Bowling Center beginning June 11.
In addition to giving kids something to do during the summer, the bowling alley hopes to revive the sport, Jake Kilbourn, general manager, said.
The sport has seen a decline since its heyday between the 1970s and 1990s. Bowling alleys in Blanchard and Lawton have recently closed due to declining interest.
