The Chickasha Area Arts Council (CAAC) will have its first meeting of the New Year on Tues., Jan. 28, 2020 at 6:30 pm in the ‘7th Street Art Connection’, located at 1301 S. 7th Street, Chickasha.
Some of the agenda items include updates on (1) ArtScope day camp for 8-12 year old children on June 8-19, (2) Rock Island Arts Festival (RIAF) on Oct. 2-4, (3) free First Saturday Morning Art Classes for 4-12 year old children, (4) workshops for Adults and Youth, ages 13 and older, (5) updates at 7th Street, as well as other items.
Everyone interested in ‘The Arts’ is invited to attend CAAC meetings on the fourth Tuesday at 6:30pm.
CAAC memberships for 2020 are welcomed and greatly appreciated.
The CAAC is a local 501(c)3 non-profit and all-volunteer organization. Contributions to the CAAC may be tax-deductible. The mailing address is CAAC, PO Box 505, Chickasha, OK 73023.
Donations may be made at any time in memory or in honor of an individual and/or designated for any of CAAC’s projects: (1) Gwen Brooks Memorial Arts Scholarship Fund, established in August 2008, (2) ArtScope 2020, (3) Rock Island Arts Festival 2020, (4) Art Classes and Workshops for Children, Youth and Adults and (5) CAAC’s General Fund.
