Chickasha Archery

It was a banner day for Chickasha Archery.  The team bringing home five State Championship awards, and several other honors.

Chickasha archers, lead by Head Coach Regan Jantzen and Assistant Coach Jason Shaw, joined archers from across the state all with their eyes on the prize. The West Region State Competition is held each year at the state fairgrounds in Oklahoma City. Each shooter is scored on three, 5-arrow rounds from both 10 meters and 15 meters, for a possible total score of 300. In all, 45 archers, including alternates, represented Chickasha in this year’s competition among the more than 800 students from Oklahoma. 

“We are proud of today’s results and look forward to continuing to grow and build a championship winning program, Coach Regan Jantzen said.

Team awards: 

1st Place – West Region State Champion Team – Chickasha Elementary

2nd Place – Chickasha Middle School

 

Individual awards:

High School Boys

1st Place – West Region High School Boys State Champion – Joseph  

High School Girls

1st Place – West Region High School Girls State Champion – Trinity Badillo

2nd Place – High School Girls - Desarea Borden 

Middle School Boys

1st Place – West Region Middle School Boys State Champion – Nolan Myrko

Elementary Girls

1st Place – West Region Elementary Girls State Champion – Emerly Israel
