Charity for homelessness, Everything Christmas Store seeks new site

A fundraiser that helps those affected by homelessness is in search of a place to call home for the holiday season.

The Everything Christmas Store benefits the Resurrection House in Chickasha. Every year, Pam Morgan with the Resurrection House sets up a huge inventory of Christmas decorations, clothes, toys, collectables and more.

All proceeds from the sale goes towards a Christmas party and gifts for the Resurrection House and Life Skills residents.

Over the last eight years, the Everything Christmas Store has resided in vacant store buildings and rent houses. Morgan said she is grateful for the generosity of these property owners.

While the building needs to be on the large side, heat and water are not necessary, Morgan said. While these things are nice to have, Morgan said she has done without them in the past. The only utility needed is electricity for light.

The Everything Christmas Store would need to use the location between Nov. 1 and the first week of January. The store opens on Nov. 15 and closes after Dec. 30.

If anyone is able to donate a building for the Everything Christmas Store, please call Pam Morgan at 405-201-2193.
