Chickasha Relay for Life had a team captain meeting in the basement of Five Oaks at Grady Memorial Hospital to discuss some new changes to the annual event.
Relay for Life is known for being an all night party, but this year the nationwide event is trying something a little different.
This year, Chickasha Relay for Life will still begin at 7 p.m. but will end at 1 a.m.
This recommendation has come as a result of people tending not to stay for the whole night. The crowd usually thins out by midnight anyway, Jeannette Loutsch, Relay for Life Chickasha, said.
Chickasha Relay for Life will start setting up around 6 p.m. on June 7 at the University of Science and Art Oval.
Bark for Life is just around the corner, on April 4 at the University of Science and Art Oval. It is $10 to join. More details to come soon.
