No-hitters all around in narrow Tiger loss

ANADARKO, Okla. —

No hitters are a rarity in baseball, but two of them in the same game is even more scarce.

That's exactly what happened when Tuttle met Catoosa in the Anadarko Warrior Classic on Thursday. The No.6 Indians handed No. 1 Tuttle their first loss of the season, but both pitchers ended with no hitters in the 1-0 finish.

The Tigers' Connor Litterell and Catoosa's Nick Brown took the honors. The only run of the game came in the sixth inning, with a batter reaching base via an error and scoring on a sacrifice fly.

Tuttle plays No. 13 Oologah-Talala (4-2) at 5:30 p.m. when their tournament schedule resumes.
