Chickasha woman accused in bank robberies

CHICKASHA —

A Chickasha woman has been implicated in the robbery of a Shawnee bank and the attempted robbery of another in Norman back in September.

A U.S. Magistrate Judge issued a search warrant April 18 for Katrina Flowers' home in connection with the robbery of a Bison Federal Credit Union branch in Shawnee and the attempted robbery of an Arvest Bank branch in Norman.

During an interview with FBI Special Agents, according to an affidavit from a U.S. District Court, Flowers admitted to taking $8,862 the Bison Federal Credit Union branch in Shawnee and attempting to rob the Arvest Bank branch in Norman.
