McDonald's employee claims drive through customer brandished gun

CHICKASHA —

Police are investigating a reported felonious pointing of a handgun that took place Tuesday night in the Chickasha McDonald's drive through.

Chickasha Police Major Elip Moore said a McDonald's employee claimed a vehicle pulled into the drive through, complained about not having the correct order and proceeded to point a gun at the employee. The vehicle then drove away.

"The backseat passenger made a comment asking about their sauce not being in the bag, then pointed the gun at the employee and said 'don't make me use this," Moore said he read in an incident report.

A witness of the alleged crime said the suspect was upset over not receiving french fries, according to Moore.

Moore said he does not know if the weapon was a real gun, but CPD is investigating the situation.
