A woman was arrested for stealing $820.39 worth of merchandise from the Chickasha Walmart yesterday.

Jim Clark helped develop a 36-bottle propane cage that allows people to swipe their card and leave with a full bottle of propane in seconds. The first cage is already installed on 4th Street for beta testing.

Senate Candidate Kevin Crow will be speaking to the Kiwanis on March 18. Crow faces competition for Coburn's vacated seat from four other candidates, including U.S. Rep. James Lankford from congressional district 5 in the northeast of the state and former State House Speaker T.W. Shannon.

The Chickasha baseball team takes its play on the road this week during spring break. They start play on March 20 at  7 p.m. against Loyola Academy in Shreveport, La., before turning around the next day at 1 p.m. to face Menard Central in Alexandria, La. On their way back, the Fightin' Chicks make a stop in Henderson, Texas, to face Henderson High School at Noon on March 22.
