Pace-Flowers nuptials

— Pace – Flowers

Wed on Oct. 29, 2010

On the evening of Oct. 9, 2010, Amanda Marie Pace and Jeffery Thomas Flowers were married in an intimate outdoor ceremony at Castle Falls in Oklahoma City. Rev. Matt Porter, friend of the couple, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Michele Pace of Chickasha. She is the granddaughter of Jim and Mary Naney and the later Kenneth and Barbara Pace, all of Chickasha. Amanda is a 2006 graduate of Chickasha High Schools and a 2011 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in economics.

The groom is the son of Jeff and Rosemary Flowers of McLoud. He is the grandson of Otto and Dorothy Flowers of McLoud and John and Rosie Aaron of Texarkana, Ark. Jeff is a 2006 graduate of McLoud High School. He is currently working on his bachelor’s degree at the University of Oklahoma. Jeff is also a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard.

Escorted by her father, Amanda wore a beautiful Maggie Sottero designer gown and coordinating fingertip veil. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of orchids, lilies, hydrangeas, roses and tulips in fall colors of orange, copper, caramel and deep purple. For her “something old,” the bride wore her grandmother’s pearl necklace.

Six attendants accompanied the bride with Kristyn Abreu servings as maid of honor and Suzanne Edminsten, Jamie Fesler, Lindsay Houston, Brittany Atwood and Sara Edminsten as bridesmaids. The attendants wore tea-length, one-shoulder, eggplant dresses and carried hand-tied bouquets matching the brides.

The groom’s party included best man, Jeff Parker, and groomsmen, Diego Mendoza, David Eishen, Johnnie Roza, Daniel Parker and Zac Pinney. Ring bearers were Elijah Naney, Wyatt Pace and Ian Hess. All wore black tuxedos with eggplant vests.

The reception took place in the “Great Hall” at Castle Falls. The guests were treated to a German dinner catered by Castle Falls. The reception area was filled with rich fall colors from roses, orchids, hydrangeas and lilies, and lit with lanterns and candlelight. The music was provided by Adrian Buendia of Nexus Productions, along with the photo booth and custom “F” monogram that highlighted the dance floor.

After a honeymoon in the Riveria Maya, the couple now resides in Blanchard with their three dogs, Bo, Eisley and Bentley.
