Melissa Kay Gallaway and Nicholas Wade Wroblewski exchanged wedding vows at 6:30 p.m. Saturday December 29, 2007 in Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Chickasha with Reverend Jim Goins officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Terri Gallaway of Chickasha and the bridegroom’s parents are Mark and Liz Wroblewski of Ravenna, Nebraska.

Maternal grandparents are the late Henry and JoAnn Campo and Aggert and Hazel Gallaway. Paternal Grandparents are Mary DeWitt and late John DeWitt and late Frank and Salli Mae Wroblewski

The wedding setting included a heart shaped candelabra with the altar decorated with red poinsettias and lighted Christmas trees. The family aisles were marked with silver bows, red roses and white calla lilies.

The organist was Joy Yocum and soloists were Jim Hall, singing “Our Father” and Jan Park singing “Ave Maria”, “The Prayer” and “The Wedding Song”. Together, Jim and Jan sang “O Holy Night”.

The bride was escorted by her father, Mike Allen Gallaway. She was wearing a White Bridal Satin, Classic A-line designed gown with beaded spaghetti straps and a beaded chapel length train. The central motif on the front of the gown is a flower design of beads and sequins with vertical bead design radiating downward, including the train. The beadwork is created with white pearl, bugle and rice beads. The fingertip veil was trimmed with white pearls matching the gown.

Maids of Honor were Krista and Mica Gallaway, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brooke Dean, Heather Honeyman, Melanie Robinson, Cari Lewis, and Tara Schrimer.

Scott “Butch” Zwiener, served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Cody Dean, Brandon Johnson, Luke Kucera, Jason Luce, Chris Miller, Luke Wroblewski and Jeff Zwiener. Ushers were Brian Bauer, Corey Larsen, Chris Miller and Tim Slocum. Bailey and Keaton Schrimer, niece and nephew of the groom served as Flower Girl and Ring Bearer. The candle lighters were Alex Harris and Dustin Wroblewski.

Special honorary guests were Bill and Margery McDoniel, Ty and Lori Tyler and Wayne and Shirley Zwiener.

A reception was held at the St. Joseph’s Activity Center. Juli Johnson, Kelly Weibel and DeAnn Zwiener attended the Guest Book and Aryn Pickle, Katie McDoniel and Rachael Campo, cousins of the bride served cake and punch. The bride and groom exited the reception in a 1959 Chrysler 300 E driven by long-time friend of the family, Ron Lambert.

After their honeymoon in Las Vegas, the couple will establish a home in Oklahoma City.
