Men's Basketball: Drovers defeat Langston at home

CHICKASHA — The USAO men's basketball team earned its second-straight blowout victory at home to start the season, winning over Langston University on Saturday.

The Drovers advanced to 2-0 with an 81-63 win. Langston starts its season at 0-1.

The 2002 USAO men's basketball team, which won the national championship, was inducted in to the USAO Hall of Fame, as well as head coach Brisco McPherson. The team was honored at halftime, and before the game the court was dedicated to McPherson.

Brandon Cutler led the Drovers with a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Four other USAO players were in double figures: Phillip Harris with 15 points, Jahseth Lloyd with 14 points and seven rebounds, Darrius Bryson with 13 points and Shavon Scott with 10 points.

USAO's next game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Okla.
