Tuttle's Oklahoma fire safety company experiences odd destruction

A Tuttle man was arrested after he allegedly caused between $5,000 and $6,000 worth of damage at the Oklahoma Fire and Safety Company last week.

Officers responded to an activated fire alarm at the business where they found Daniel Stearman.

"He told officers he activated the alarm because he had no other way of getting help," said Tuttle Police Chief Don Cluck. "Officers saw the office had been ransacked and equipment broken."

Owner Michael Stearman said he allowed Daniel to stay in the office until he found another place to live.

Daniel  was arrested for vandalism and destruction of property in excess of $2,500.
