CHS Cross Country brings home conference medals

— The Chickasha High School cross country team competed at the Suburban Conference meet at Piedmont on Tuesday, coming home with two medals.

Kelsey Taylor finished in 25th with a time of 15 minutes, 38 seconds. Hannah Elrod was 26th at 15:43, and both girls received medals.

Monica Barrera ran the race in 17:55, and Melanie Sales finished at 20:36.

For the boys, Junior Avila was the top finisher in 36th with a time of 21:13. Laken Sanches was 41st at 22:55, Ben Fuller was 43rd at 23:22 and Nathan Stewart was 46th at 24:12.

Cooper Mosley and Kyle Mosley ran in the junior varsity boys race. Cooper placed 50th at 22:34, and Kyle was 65th at 25:50.
