Chickasha Bank & Trust Company announced that it has been acquired by the company that owns and runs Liberty National Bank out of Lawton.
Pending approval from regulatory agencies, B.O.E. Bancshares, Inc., which has complete control of Liberty National, will acquire all $180 million in assets of Chickasha Bank and its five locations across Grady, Caddo and McClain counties. A statement from Chickasha Bank on Friday confirmed it will retain its current name, and current employees will keep their jobs. President/CEO Lindel Pettigrew will join the Board of Liberty National Bank and B.O.E. Bancshares.
Liberty National has assets topping $250 million, and its acquisition of Chickasha Bank will take that number to $430 million, according to the statement. B.O.E. Bancshares will now control nine locations across Southwest Oklahoma.
