Grady County Emergency Management reported that a slight chance of rain this weekend may cause slick road conditions, but it isn't expected to have much of an impact.


Today is expected to be cloudy with a high of 75F. Tomorrow is expected to be windy with a few showers and highs in the low 50s and lows in the mid 30s. Sunday is expected to have a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 50s and lows in the upper 30s.

The city of Chickasha will discuss how to keep the spay and neuter program, which will run out of donated funds at the end of this month, going until June until the city starts deliberating the new budget starting in July.

Loretta Y. Jackson of Chickasha is one of four individuals who will be inducted into the Oklahoma Historians Hall of Fame. Jackson will be honored during the Annual Awards Luncheon of the Oklahoma Historical Society on Friday, April 25, at the Stillwater Community Center in Stillwater. A man was arrested for possession of marijuana yesterday after police stopped him while patrolling and found he had a warrant.
