Police are looking for a Ninnekah man, that allegedly led authorities on a chase on Aug. 23, and attempted to strike two Grady County deputies in their vehicles with his own.
The incident occurred after Chickasha police officers attempted to stop Samuel Delk, whose vehicle only had one working headlight.
Delk's vehicle reached speeds of 100 mph during the incident, a report from CPD states.
Delk threw out a bag from his truck during the chase that officers suspected had drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Upon recovering the bag, officers found items used to smoke and inject methamphetamine, and a clear baggy with a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, the report reads.
The pursuit ended on County Road 1400 when the suspect drove through a field and fled on foot along the riverbank to elude officers.
An affidavit for arrest on various charges has been filed with the district attorney’s office in connection with this incident.
